Our Assurance
We assure you that our coco coir is 100% peat-free, with an ideal pH, low electrical conductivity (EC), and contains no green or soil waste.
Source
The coconut husks come from fertile regions in southern India, near the Western Ghats. This area is hilly, rocky, and has rivers, forests, and some marshlands. It gets most of its rainfall from the monsoons, with an average of 1,274 mm of rain each year, making it ideal location for coconut plantations.
Ideal Growing Medium
Coco Coir is often labeled as compost but is actually a growing medium. It supports plants, providing them with nutrients and water. While the carbon savings from using coir may seem small individually, they add up, making coir a product that benefits the environment.
No Synthetic Treatments
We water-wash our coir multiple times using harvested rain water to naturally reduce salt content, ensuring it’s organic and safe for plants. Unlike synthetic treatments that use chemicals to alter coir properties, our method preserves its natural quality.
Sun Dried
We sun-dry coir using a sustainable, eco-friendly method powered by solar energy. This process preserves the coir’s natural properties and moisture balance while being cost-effective and environmentally friendly, with minimal equipment and no emissions.
Transportation of coir
We put significant effort and use advanced technology to ensure our coir is shipped as efficiently as possible. We optimise container space and use eco-friendly shipping methods to further lower our carbon footprint. This ensures our coir reaches customers in a sustainable and timely manner while keeping costs low.
